"Fake It 'til You Make It"
Fake it 'til you make it - probably the worst advice ever. While well-intentioned, aimed at promoting strength and courage, it can create anxiety and reinforce the belief that "you're not enough".
Believing in yourself isn’t a one-and-done thing. It comes in levels, like athletic training. Some days, belief feels easy, like an effortless walk on a sunny trail. Other days, it's a head-down, uphill sprint in the rain with your legs shaking and your breath short.
Isn’t it fascinating how, just when everything is going well, life can throw unexpected challenges our way, leaving us feeling stressed and overwhelmed?
